WHAT MAKES KENDU WORKSHOP SPECIAL

 

In today’s world, children are constantly consuming content—but very few are being equipped to create it with purpose, creativity, and strong values. That’s where the Kendu Kids Creativity Workshop comes in.

Led by former Disney animator Davy Liu, who worked on The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and Mulan, this workshop offers students a rare behind-the-scenes look at how powerful ideas are born—and how creativity can shape the world.

Creativity is essential for everyday life—fueling problem-solving, innovation, and storytelling. At the Kendu Kids Creativity Workshop, kids explore ideas, observation, drawing, design, teamwork, and imagination with a “Can Do” attitude. They discover how a film like The Lion King was created, while going on their own creative journey.

This course was originally offered at Disney University, giving your students a unique perspective on how Disney transforms a simple idea into an epic project. Now, your kids can experience that same process—learning how to:

• Develop their own original story

• Design animated characters

• Draw from life

• Create simple animations

• Collaborate with others through teamwork

• Build confidence with a Kendu (“I Can Do It”) mindset

 

And at the end of the workshop, students celebrate their creations in a fun and inspiring Academy Award–style showcase.

 

For schools, this workshop enhances creativity, focus, and communication skills—supporting both academic and personal growth.

For churches, it helps children connect their faith with creativity—raising up a new generation who can share truth, hope, and biblical values through storytelling and media.
